I haven't done this before.. but I'm sure they have some options!
Everything was perfect. I mean cerveza, sangria, empanada, ceviche, entrees, and of course service. Loved it! Will definitely come back again and bring friends!
Great traitorous traditional Peruvian food. Excellent service. Not cheap but a very good value considering the quality. I recommend the empanadas, beet salad, lamb and tres leches cake
Best Peruvian food!
Super tasty food! a lot of options and great quality! Check them out when you are in town!!!
This is, the best restaurant in the SD area. Every birthday and anniversary are celebrated here. The empanadas have a crumbly crust that reminds me of shortbread, paired with the special orange sauce...can’t be beat (All are amazing but my favorite is the vegetarian lentil). Hidden gems: THE SANGRIA, GET IT, also the caramelized plantains. The shortbread dulce de leche cookies are FANTASTIC. And wow, the Tres Leches cake tastes incredible, like a chilled melted-vanilla-ice-cream-soaked cake. Everything here is lovely. The staff is lovely. Don’t pass up a chance to visit Peru without leaving Encinitas.
Went about 3 pm on a Saturday and there only one table taken. I had the Lomo Saltado. It tasted just like it does in Peru. The entree options were low though. That's why I took off a star. I lived in northern Peru for 2 years, so I know Peruvian food. It would have been nice to have more options.
Small place where an older lady takes your order. Her husband makes your order from scratch so it takes a long time. The food is savory, worth the wait. The walls are decorated with traditional religious and folk art from Peru. The food seems authentic. It's unpretentious and delicious.
Incredibly delicious, very unique. The salmon in my ceviche tasted fresher than the fish at some sushi restaurants.
Pretty authentic Peruvian in San Diego. Delicious Lomo Saltado and Pancha hot sauce. You can buy the sauce to go! You should. Get the big one.
This was a nice change from the standard food options. This was my first time eating puruvian cuisine and I really enjoyed it. I had a dish that had cuts of flank steak, tomatoes, fries and onions with a side of white rice. The flavors were rich, the meat tender and just overall a good experience. The staff is also very friendly. I would eat here again.
What a little gem this place is! Everything about this place is wonderful, from the setting to the service to the food! The server we had Patrick was very knowledgable about the menu and made great recommendations. The dishes were incredibly delicious and unique. This place is a must visit. We're definitely coming back.
VERY CUTE Peruvian restaurant on the Encinitas tourist strip on the 101. Alfonso was very polite when I asked about their food. Looks and sounds good so we'll be back soon!
Delicious exotic food in a comfortable setting. Small enough to get personal attention from your server and quiet enough to hear the people at your table. I would definitely love to eat here again.
We happened upon this place quite by accident. Looked at the menu and decided to give it a try. Great choice! Everything we tried was excellent, down to the wine, and the Tres Leches dessert was just wonderful! The help was friendly and attentive, and Carmen came out to talk to us and to make sure we were satisfied with everything, which we were. Great little place.
Wonderful food and atmosphere, good prices as well.
Good food, I am peruvian, but I want to be fear with people in the sense to give a impartial feedback. You can find 4 kinds of ceviche and the Mixto is the best. Don Cucho ceviche would be the icon ceviche, but forget about it, nothing out the world. The fantastic idea to serve Chicha Morada, in the actual KERO, looks very unique.
This cozy little Peruvian restaurant is such a gem in Encinitas. The menu is small, but approachable and full of outstanding, flavor-packed sharable small plates. Their house hot sauce is lemony and delicious. The drink menu has outstanding sours and a great house sangria. Definitely worth the stop!
A great find! My friend and I stumbled across this restaurant while walking by. I love the feel of the place. We ordered cheese empanadas to start with, they were excellent! My entree was a salmon plate. It was good, but the sauce was a little salty for my taste. Also, I think the service needs some work. Next time I go, I'll be sure to try other things.
The Carne Empanadas were really good, and the staff handled the to-go orders wonderfully.
